About us

10.15am-11.15am session recommended for primary age children.
11.30am-12.30pm session recommended for secondary age children.

Enjoy a fun and accessible Indian dance workshop led by one of the UK's most renowned dance companies.

This masterclass is inspired by our 'Beyond the Page' exhibition and will bring to life some of the fabulous miniature worlds depicted in it.

Sonia Sabri Company is one of the country's leading contemporary South Asian dance and music companies and the creator of Mughal Miniatures, a series of hit productions which celebrate and take inspiration from the exquisite art of Indian and Persian miniature painting.

Originating in Northern India, Kathak is the most naturalistic of all the Indian classical dance forms – derived from simple everyday movements and full of unique percussive, musical and storytelling.
