About us

The University of Plymouth Choral Society's autumn term rehearsals will see them working towards their Victorian Christmas concert on Saturday 7 December in the beautiful Minster Church of St. Andrew.

The evening will include one of Brahms major choral works 'Schicksalslied', and four monumental pieces by Queen Victoria's favourite composer, Felix Mendelssohn: 'Vom Himmel Hoch', 'Hirtenlied', 'There Shall be a Star and He', 'Watching over Israel'.

The choir will also reprise one of their favourites from last year, the beautiful 'Snow' by Edward Elgar.
