About us
Dir. Max Walker-Silverman, US, 2025, 96 mins. Cast. Josh O'Connor, Lily LaTorre, Meghann Fahy.
Rebuilding is a film that focuses not so much on what has been lost but what grows out of that loss. After a wildfire destroys his home, divorced father and ranch owner Dusty (Josh O'Connor) must plant new roots as he finds himself living in a close-knit trailer community, quietly reassembling his life, and reconnecting with his estranged young daughter and ex-wife (Meghann Fahy).
From filmmaker Max Walker-Silverman, Rebuilding is a heartfelt portrait of resilience and human connection in the wake of loss, which leads him to find community and second chances.
