About us

Join Seafood Plymouth at the iconic Tinside Lido for a special afternoon celebrating Plymouth's seafood, fishermen and fishing heritage.
Organised by the Plymouth Fishing & Seafood Association (PFSA) and part of the Seafest weekend, celebrating Plymouth seafood, our local fishermen and the city's proud fishing heritage.
We'll be joined by Matt the Chef for a live seafood cooking demonstration, showing how fantastic local seafood can be turned into simple, delicious dishes.
Seafood caught locally, supplied locally and cooked by Matt.
The afternoon will also celebrate the people and heritage behind Plymouth's fishing industry, including:
A Taste of the Salt – our short film telling the stories of Plymouth's fishing fleet and the people behind the catch.
Fishermen of Plymouth – a poem written and performed by Adrian Bartlett, reflecting on the history, heritage and generations of fishermen who have helped shape Plymouth.
PLUS – 10% OFF YOUR FIRST ORDER FROM THE VIRTUAL FISHMONGER.
Discover Plymouth's local fish merchants, find out what seafood is available and buy Plymouth fish direct for delivery or collection.
Come along, watch Matt at work, enjoy the film and poetry, pick up some seafood cooking tips and celebrate the fishing community that continues to bring fresh local seafood ashore.
Seafood Plymouth – celebrating Plymouth's fishermen, seafood, heritage and our connection with the sea.
