About us

State Organs: Unmasking Transplant Abuse in China
On 3 September 2025, China's Xi Jinping and Russia's Vladimir Putin were caught on a hot mic discussing increasing longevity and even achieving immortality through repeated organ transplants. Does this erode medical ethical standards? Are organ recipients and hospitals ethically prepared if China offers to deliver transplant organs with expedited delivery?

Medical tourism for organ transplants is accelerating across the globe—but behind the promise of life-saving procedures lies a horrific truth.

Please come and see an exclusive screening of "State Organs" followed by a Q&A session at Plymouth Arts Cinema on 27 September 2026 (doors open at 2pm).

When truth is shared, it creates change. Your awareness, your voice, can help bring light to the darkest places. Let this film be more than viewing. Let it be a beginning.

About the film:
Dir. Raymond Zhang, Canada, 2024, 75 mins. In English and Chinese with English subtitles. With Michelle Zhange, Will Huang, Wendy Lan.

When two young people in China disappear while in police custody, their families embark on a perilous 20-year journey to search for them. Along the way, they uncover a harrowing government-run organ harvesting operation that has destroyed thousands of lives—and that continues to this day.

This powerful documentary exposes China's state-sanctioned, billion-dollar transplant industry fuelled by forced organ harvesting and the brutal persecution of Falun Gong spiritual believers.

Masterfully directed by Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Raymond Zhang and accompanied by an evocative score from Emmy Award-winning composer Daryl Bennett, "State Organs" has garnered 50 international Film Awards and Nominations, and was 2025 Oscar qualified for Best Documentary Feature & Best Music.
