About us

Martin Owen, founder and Chair of the Exeter Ideas Salon, chairs a panel debate in which four industry experts share their perspectives on censorship within arts, followed by questions from the audience.

The panel consists of Nigel Hurst, former CEO of the Saatchi gallery and now Head of Contemporary Arts at The Box; Dr Sarah Chapman, Artistic Director of The Arts Institute; Dr Wendy Earle, convenor of the Academy of Ideas Arts and Society forum and Mo Lovatt, writer and researcher in arts and culture policy.
