About us

This is a special screening of The Salt Path, raising funds for the South West Coast Path Association (SWCPA), the charity that looks after the South West Coast Path. This National Trail provides health-giving happiness to millions of people every year. It connects hundreds of coastal communities, helps the region's economy thrive and is one of our most precious wildlife corridors.

As Britain's longest and best loved National Trail, the South West Coast Path captures the hearts and minds of all who journey along it. From Minehead to Poole, it takes in the best parts of four unique counties, offering 630 miles of uninterrupted walking, with over 9 million visitors a year. Along the path, there are 4,000 waymarkers, 30,000 steps, 230 bridges, and 880 gates to upkeep. Those who complete the route will have scaled the equivalent of Mount Everest four times!

With The Salt Path shining a spotlight on this treasured trail, SWCPA hopes they can continue their mission to ensure it survives for generations to come.
