The Plymouth Athenaeum Autumn Series Lecture on Thursday, 31st October (7.30pm) will have a very topical, Brexit theme.

Dr Patrick Holden will be presenting 'From Henry VIII to Michael Collins, in search of historical analogies for Brexit' on 31st October, the night the United Kingdom is scheduled to leave the European Union.

Patrick Holden is an Associate Professor in the School of Law, Criminology and Government at the University of Plymouth.

His work encompasses research and teaching in relation to International Political Economy, the European Union in the World, International Development Policy, Global Governance and Regional Integration.

Entry to the Autumn Lecture Series is free and open to the public.
