DancersHip are back at the Terrace!It's Party time by the sea, with House music as 'Jack' intended.
After a right old knees up last summer and a smokin' series of parties, DancersHip are returning to one of the UK's most unique waterside locations with 5 dates across the summer season, bringing to Plymouth an outstanding line up of UK and International DJs.
All with guest appearances from live percussionist King Konga, Terrace style BBQ's, Plymouth Gin cocktails and unrivalled panoramic views of the ocean. The scene is set for a summer to remember with your local purveyors of sweet audio drizzle, DancersHip at the Terrace, 2019!
We launch our Terrace residency in mighty fine style with one of the UK's prominent house music labels, Glasgow Underground and it's boss, internationally acclaimed producer and DJ, Kevin McKay.
Best known for producing Mylo's Platinum album "Destroy Rock & Roll" including the 4 top 40 singles "Drop The Pressure", "Destroy Rock & Roll", "In My Arms" and "Muscle Car" and the UK Number 3 hit "Doctor Pressure".
Scottish DJ, producer and label owner Kevin McKay has a discography that spans the last 20 years. He has produced everything from world-renounded dance tracks to cult underground productions and been playlisted by a wide range of djs from Andy Weatherall to DJ Sneak, whilst the Glasgow Underground label has had continuous Traxsource & Beatport No.1's.
Completing the Glasgow Underground line up is Head of A&R for the label, another internationally acclaimed producer and DJ, Ridney.
3 x winner of the prestigious "Essential New Tune" award on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection, Ridney has released music with the biggest dance labels; including Defected, Azuli, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Size, Great Stuff, Nervous & Spinin
As a DJ, he has travelled extensively across Europe. A firm staple across Ibiza, his DJ sets have spanned venues inc. Ushuaia, Eden, Es Paradis, Café Mambo, Savannah, Ocean Beach & Space, and DJing as part of the Café Mambo (Ibiza) tour for the past 2 years.
