About us

Plymouth Comedy Club return to The Plymouth Athenaeum for their first night of hilarity in 2019, where you can expect the usual trio of top stand up comedians plus resident MC Chris Brooker. As always there will be a well stocked bar managed by The B-Bar serving a range of beers, ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks plus bar snacks.

YOUR APRIL 2019 LINEUP

Headline Act: Scott Bennett
Scott has been hailed as one of the finest comedy talents to emerge in the last decade. Fusing old school and new school perfectly, Scott has a delightfully traditional line in true stories and proper gags. Combine this with his cutting edge observations and he's very much the total package for the modern era. In huge demand as a tour support and writer for the likes of Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon, Chris Ramsey and Jason Manford, it's only a matter of time before Scott breaks out in his own right.

Support Act 1: Jack Campbell
Former English Comedian Of The Year, Jack has toured his stand up all over the world including Australia, Germany, Finland, Latvia and Estonia.

Support Act 2: Jenny Collier
Multi award-winning comedian, Jenny Collier has also toured the world performing stand up in Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland and Australia. ★★★★★ 'An Excellent comedic work' (Edfest Mag) ★★★★ A brilliant show and well worth a watch' (Arts Award Voice)

With MC Chris Brooker.
