Performance of 'Devon’s War Girls' by Med Theatre. This two-woman play is inspired by true events and explores the stories of those left behind in Devon during the Second World War.
Travel back in time to Devon in 1939, when Britain was on the brink of war and urban and rural communities were making preparations. Dartmoor is suddenly home to evacuees, soldiers, medics and, of course, the Land Girls. Molly and Enid, two young women trying to navigate wartime life, take turns in telling true local stories, combining physical theatre, props, music and dance to bring the region's war history to life.
