One of the best nights in Plymouth will be presented by BBC's David FitzGerald, with Conductor Marcus Alleyne and this year sponsored by The Cornwall Channel.
On Saturday 10th September in one of the most prestigious venues in the South West we promise to bring you all the pomp and ceremony you can cram into an evening.
Now in its third concert season, and renown for their sell out Proms Performances, the South West Philharmonia & Chorus are back, under the baton of Maestro Marcus Alleyne, for one night only, so come and join us, wave your flags, shout, scream and cheer and enjoy everything there is to love about the Last night of The Proms. Whilst supporting our nominated charity Children's Hospice South West
This years programme is one of the most varied repertoires we have ever fielded, with music by internationally acclaimed composer Christopher Tin, all the traditional pieces from Sir Henry Wood to Eric Coates and Sir Edward Elgar's incredible Fantasia on British Sea Songs.
For the first time, we are also opening the bar so you can order your pre-show drinks and join us for interval refreshments.
