About us

Plymouth city centre will be transformed with reggae music, Caribbean food, rum cocktails and festival atmosphere later this month as Heyday Events brings a free Rum & Reggae activation to Old Town Square.

Taking place from 4pm–8pm on Thursday 25 June, the activation will give people a taste of what to expect when Rum & Reggae Festival arrives at Home Park on Saturday 11 July.

The free city-centre event will feature:

• Live reggae music from a Heyday DJ

• A Turtle Bay BBQ serving a selection of Caribbean-inspired wings

• Rum tastings and cocktails from Plymouth's own Vault 53

• A Spin-to-Win competition featuring festival tickets, Turtle Bay gift cards and other prizes

• £5 discount vouchers for Rum & Reggae Festival

• Exclusive competitions, giveaways and festival information

The activation is being delivered by Heyday Events in partnership with Turtle Bay Plymouth, Vault 53 and Plymouth City Centre Company and aims to bring a taste of Caribbean sunshine to the heart of Plymouth.
