Enjoy live music at Old Town Square in Plymouth City Centre. Taking place outside Drake Circus in the centre of Plymouth, get ready for live music and performances on the first Saturday of every month.

Saturday 4 April: The Andy Quick Band (2pm-3.30pm) and Plymouth Rock Choir (1pm-1.30pm)
A powerhouse of the South West music scene, The Andy Quick Band blend funk, rock, rap, indie and reggae into high-energy, unpredictable sets. Known for originality and dynamic live shows, Andy Quick’s eclectic sound always gets the crowd moving.
Plymouth Rock Choir is a lively, inclusive community choir based in Plymouth that performs feel‑good pop, rock, and contemporary chart hits.
Saturday 2 May: The Scribes (2pm-3.30pm)
Award-winning Bristol hip hop collective The Scribes bring clever lyrics, infectious beats and unforgettable live energy. Combining live instruments, beatboxing and freestyle skills, they’ve become festival favourites across the UK and beyond.
Saturday 6 June: Hot House Combo (2pm-3.30pm)
Step back in time with The Hot House Combo, a lively four-piece band inspired by the jazz and swing of the 1920s–40s. Expect vintage charm, toe-tapping rhythms and an irresistible dose of old-school fun.
Saturday 4 July: Busta Groove (2pm-3.30pm) and Holloway (1pm-1.30pm)
Busta Groove are a funky, feel-good duo from South Devon rocking a mix of classic hits and modern favourites. With live experience across Europe and BBC radio sessions under their belt, they deliver pure dancefloor energy.
Holloway is a shoegaze, indie rock band that is informed by a variety of influences from the different musical interests of its members. Their songs are often reflective and yearning in nature, with many stand-out tracks such as 'Sunburn', 'Plans To Make', and, most recently, the more upbeat addition of the single 'Babydarling'.
Saturday 1 August: The Cabarats (2pm-3.30pm) and Bobbieee (1pm-1.30pm)
Fusing Middle Eastern and Balkan sounds with upbeat ska and reggae, The Cabarats create a global party vibe. Their infectious energy and distinctive instrumentation have earned them festival and BBC Introducing acclaim.
South West England based indie folk, singer-songwriter, Bobbie Holland Theophile (known as ‘bobbieee’ online.) has an airy quality to his sound described as "relaxed but punchy." Combining the essence of Elliott Smith with the honest and relatable lyricism of other songwriters such as Phoebe Bridgers. Dashed with subtle hints of indie bands that Bobbie takes huge inspiration from, such as Radiohead, an atmosphere of pure emotion and vulnerability is worn on his sleeve with his music.
Saturday 5 September: Manuka (2pm-3.30pm) and The Other Woman (1pm-1.30pm)
Manuka Groove Trio light up the stage with soulful vocals, infectious rhythms and feel-good covers that span genres and decades. Their lively mix of pop, funk and reggae guarantees a day of singalong fun.
The Other Woman are an all female, three piece dream pop band from Cornwall, UK, whose influences include The Cranberries, The Sundays, Cocteau Twins and Big Thief. The band has been riding the wave of their first album, “Eternally…”, released in February 2024, whilst performing at festivals such as Boardmasters from 2023-2025, alongside local festivals in Devon and Cornwall.
