About us

The Interdisciplinary Sci-Fi Film Series was devised by Prof. Robert Brown, Professor of Architecture, and Dr. David Sergeant, Associate Professor of 20th and 21st-century literature to celebrate the wide currency of science fiction in contemporary culture, with the interdisciplinary nature of the participating University of Plymouth academics providing an innovative and original take on the genre.
As part of October's Sci-Fi season, and following the programmed podcast with the University's academics, which will be released on 5 October, we invite you to participate in a live Q and A on our Facebook page with our film programmer, Anna Navas; discuss the suggested films of the season, insights from the podcast and your thoughts on the themes of this imaginative and futuristic genre.
