About us
This summer marks 30 years since the release of the beloved 1995 film Sense and Sensibility, starring Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Alan Rickman and Hugh Grant – and filmed right here at Saltram.
From July to August, join us as we celebrate Saltram's starring role as Norland Park with anniversary moments and a special spotlight display of printed stills from the film. Walk in the footsteps of the Dashwood family through rooms and garden locations featured in the film – from the showstopping Saloon to the Lime Avenue oak where Margaret Dashwood's treehouse once stood.
Whether you're a devoted Austen fan or simply curious about Saltram's Hollywood past, this is a perfect excuse to revisit a classic. Bring a picnic, soak up the views, and fall in love with Saltram all over again.
