Silence Between Waves is a film performed by a cast of three exceptional Singaporean dancers shot on Torbay's scenic Berry Head.Taking inspiration from the headland's views and environment andwith a soundscape featuring recorded local stories by Torbay's Sound Communities Silence Between Waves frames a conversation through movement and sound, connecting two countries and places across the sea by reflecting on home and far away. This film features a powerful international ensemble as a metaphor for how our oceans and dance share worldwide connectivity and sentiment.
Commissioned by Torbay Culture and Eyeview and co-produced by Dance in Devon.
