About us
Join Marcy Da Silva Saude who will draw from speculative fiction to think through radical future imaginaries, with material encounters between texts, tangible images, and film emulsion manifesting in 16mm projections.Marcy is a Portuguese national raised in San Jose, California who received an MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and currently works out of KARST Studios in Plymouth.
Marcy da Silva Saude's work involves subjects such as marginal histories, the landscape, counterculture, radical politics and text(s), and has screened them at venues and festivals including International Film Festival Rotterdam, Torino Film Festival, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives, and artist-run labs and project spaces across Europe and the US. She is a member of the Filmwerkplaats collective moving image lab in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as well as BEEF (Bristol Experimental and Expanded FIlm) in Bristol.
