About us

SOAK Live Art is a new platform for performance in Plymouth.

They showcase live art, dance, theatre and experimental sound/music practice in a regular series of performance nights, alongside artist-led events. The Arts Institute is pleased to be supporting the current series of events and SOAK's work to connect with local artists and develop audiences beyond mainstream theatre and galleries.

This edition showcases an exciting line-up of local artists sharing a mix of surreal poetry, body-based performance, film, electronic soundscapes and deep dub.

Featured artists: Julie Mullen, Edward Tripp, Emily Roach Osborne, Jacqui Orly Ammon, Natalie Raven & Siobhan Bauer, Alex Kearney plus DJs.

SOAK Live Art is supported by public funding from Arts Council England.
This SOAK Live Art event series is
supported by The Arts Institute, University of Plymouth.

SOAK Live Art is curated by Sarah Blissett and Kerry Priest.
