Collaboration and Innovation for 2024!

Recently launching the Free Adult Education Series with THÊ DEPØ Studios in Plymouth, OCSW have created brand new courses for 2024 for learners to unleash their creativity in an exciting and ever developing industry, with the following courses:

  • Introduction to DJing
  • Studio Recording Basics
  • Introduction to Live Events in Sound
  • Introduction to Live Events in Lighting

These courses have proved exceptionally popular, and more dates are being arranged for those on the waiting list. According to LinkedIn, the music production market is estimated to rise at a considerable rate between now and 2030 and understanding the fusion between human creativity, technical skills and AI offers a promising future for students in the music and events industry. Plans are already in the pipeline to continue working together and offer more short courses later in the year.

New partnership with GHQ Training

OCSW now offer free Hair and Beauty Courses delivered by industry experts at the fantastic GHQ venue in the City Centre, these include; ‘Discover your Beauty Skills’ and an ‘Introduction into the exciting world of Hairdressing’ providing a unique opportunity for learners and staff.  Jean Rogers, Managing Director of GHQ Training said “We are really excited to be working with On Course South West and expect to see a wonderful flurry of interest and activity for these new courses. This is a positive partnership for GHQ and On Course South West and we can’t wait to get started”.

With excellent working relationships with employers big and small, these new collaborations are a fantastic addition to our ongoing learning partnerships.
